DECOM is a four piece Punk band from Orlando, FL. Formed in Late 2006. Our personal influences are very diverse but our passion for music is our common ground. We wanted to start a band that would push the limits of punk music. With more edge, more heart, more anger, but most importantly, we want our message to be heard. Our message is loud and clear and that is one to better society, to inform people of our government’s unjust lies and strive for a better, less corrupt America.

“ The Slack-jaw Assassin” plays the drums and has an intense love for Music. Previous to DECOM he played the guitar in several hard-core metal bands but had no overall satisfaction and decided it was time for a change, punk rock and the drums! “ C-Nations” dominates the world of bass guitar and lead vocals. He has a long musical history of playing the bass in numerous punk rock and ska bands, but has finally found his place in life, DECOM. Carter is on rhythm guitar and lead vocals.He has a long punk rock history. Carter is always living life to the fullest extent. Although he seems out of control there is a disciplined sense of professionalism and has been the owner two successful independent businesses, but his punk side led him into DECOM. Chris Chipperfield “Mogley” is on lead guitar with about 12 years experience and also sings backing vocals. He has a long punk/hardcore history, playing with many punk/hardcore bands and is very knowledgeable in studio audio recording as well.

DECOM fits in the category of “Hardcore Punk” and for good reason. We are just a bunch of punk’s from a small town that bring speed, force, and energy to the punk music scene while pressing on hard-hitting political issues. Check us out and I am sure we will not disappoint! Cheers!!
