So here we are, yet another punk band in this world. M.I.A. started in 2007, originally called missing in action until 2008, in a small oregon coast town of just 3,000 people, called Bandon. On guitar we had Garrett, on bass was Austin, and on drums was Alex. Garrett and Austin are brothers and Alex is their cousin. We played a few local shows but got fed up with having just 7th grade girls going to the gigs, so we expanded our following. By the summer of 2009, we finally went on a tour and got to play in California, Nevada, and Arizona. When we got home, our drummer (Alex) decided to move to San Francisco. Misfits in Action is now currently without a drummer and we will be moving back to Tucson, Arizona in December of 09'.
