Los Perex is an innovative technical punk band formed in 1997 that pushes the limits of the genre by integrating different musical influences like Metal and melodic Hardcore to create their unique punk sound.

Their performance alive its amazin, Guitar players energized as hell, the singer just goin crazy, the bassist playing around like a maniac wielding a chainsaw and a drummer totally down to earth.

The band was a punk rock wet dream back in ´97 and still a hard to believe punk band from the dominican republic.

Santo Domingo couldn't get enough, the decision to play as much as possible would be established as an unspoken understanding among them all, releasing their firts full length album titled ¨Historia¨ in the summer ´05.

Touring throughout Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and United States (west coast) and Mexico in summer´08, this band made its creating a huge fan base.

In summer 2009 they made their firts video clip from the song "Internacionalicemos la esperanza" by MENTES FRITAS PRODUCCIONES wich is part of their new record that just came out in late november 2010.

In February 2011, the band made their 2nd video clip from the song "Despierta" directed by Adrian Pucheu, very known Colombian film director.

One of Dominican Republic's best punk bands, being the most older active punk band in their local scene. They´ve been part of many independent splits cd´s in the latin american countries.
