Constantly working toward “the next level”, the band independently released 2 CD’s, “XXX” in 2003, and 2005’s “Girls in Vinyl Skirts”. The title song being a regional favorite. Both releases have received airplay in the US and have a big buzz in Europe on internet radio in the UK and Bulgaria. With producer Jeff DaBella (Auto Pilot Off) the band just released “Devil Wears a Bra” which signed them to SonicOrder Records and currently working on a second release. Both will be shopped to major labels and international distribution.

The PushRods – “Devil Wears A Bra” – This album is the kind of full-on flamethrower album that could make the most jaded cynic believe once again in the curative powers of punk rock. On this set, The Pushrods combine 1950s and 1960s roots rock at it's rawest, '70s punk at it's snottiest, and '80s hardcore at it's most intense. Then they filter out what's lame, put the good stuff together, and send it down the track at 150 miles per hour. The results are wild, frantic, and thoroughly enjoyable; Side Show’s fuzzy guitar communicates nearly as much through the power of downstroke as Johnny Ramone himself, bassist Face, and drummer Crow push the horsepower into the red with a fury that is a wonder to behold, and Side Show proves he's one of the great frontmen of 21th century punk: smart, funny, wise-ass when he wants to be, and possessing a genuine sense of purpose. From the moment they crash into "Dr. Phil," The Pushrods grab you by the ear and won't let go, and you won't mind a bit. Points added for a fairly typical effort -- raw, thrashing, garage-punk guitars with driving tempos and sneeringly vicious vocals. The Pushrods have recorded some of their best, most accessible work over the years, and with a pretty consistent batch of songs, this record is no exception. If you’re into raw garage punk rock filled to the rim job with sex, sex and more sex, then this album will put your loins into a frenzy. 4/5
